I. Company's profile
Company Silny&Salamon stared its activity on the Polish market in 1989 as a small family trading company, whose aim was to implement modern was of packing, sealing and closing products.
In 1996 we have signed an agreement with the Dutch company SCHUTTE (www.schutte.nl) – one of Europe's biggest manufacturer of various closures made of plastic, with admixture of metal, in form of tapes, individual clips, etc.
Many years of cooperation with a Dutch partner are most of all:
continuous increase in sales on the Polish market , and thereby increase in market share
stable and attractive prices, terms of payment and delivery conditions
reliable partner and his financial as well as substantive support
High demand for packaging and clipping equipment became for us an impulse to further development.
At present within this topic we are cooperating with the Italian company COMIZ (WWW.comiz.com).
At this time we have also developed another area of our business - security seals, which are supplied to, among others, Polish forwarding companies and banks. Our business partner within this activity is multinational company ABRIC (WWW.abric.com) with branches and sales offices on every continent. Dynamically developing sales of seals made that we have expanded our clientèle with the largest Polish banks, utilities companies, refineries, gas stations, airlines, mobile networks, chain stores, breweries, chemical plants, pharmaceutical companies, auto-mobile companies, army, police, security agencies. In addition, to meet the expectations of our customers regarding more specified product (printed seals, seals with bar code or customer's numeration) we have purchase a printing equipment.
In order to meet market requirements for products packaging we have decided not only to be present in food industry but also in packaging of industrial goods. This thought inspired us to introduce in our offer packaging machines with counting and weighing systems of Swiss company ABG-PACKMAT (WWW.abg-packmat.ch). Five years of our cooperation has resulted in sales of over 30 automatic packaging lines.
In 2001 we have opened a new chapter in our activity in food industry – sale of wrapping machines for chocolate candies. Offer of Italian company MC Automations (www.mcautomations.it), a leading manufacturer of this type of machines in the world, has been directed to the biggest Polish confectionery producers. Success resulted in sale of over 20 machines throughout the time of cooperation has been ver positively evaluated by the management of MC Automations, and thus in the last year we were invited to cooperate with company ACMA S.p.A. The company specializes in manufacturing automatic wrapping machines and packaging lines for hard candies, jelly, toffee, chewing gums, lozenges in different shapes, bars. The two complete production lines sold in 2 years is treated as a solid contribution for our development as well as ours partner.
